This company is seeking an Automation Systems Engineer to join its Hamilton-based team. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting advanced control system and MES solutions, as well as working closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel for commissioning and on-site support.
What you’ll bring- Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or proven process/automation experience
- PLC programming skills (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, or Beckhoff)
- HMI programming experience (FTView, InTouch, System Platform, Ignition, Citect, IFix)
- Desirable: robotics, vision systems, RTUs (Kingfisher, Schneider SCADAPack, Brodersen, Siemens)
- Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
- A self-motivated, detail-focused approach with a passion for delivering quality solutions
