As Lounge Supervisor at Air NZ Lounge in Christchurch Airport, you'll lead a team that creates memorable experiences for Air New Zealand's valued guests. You'll oversee daily lounge operations, inspire transformational customer service, and ensure the lounge remains a relaxing haven for travellers.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your attention to detail and passion for hospitality will shine.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities
  • Supervise and allocate tasks to team members, ensuring smooth lounge operations and proactive service.
  • Deliver and train others in Air New Zealand's service standards, creating "surprise and delight" moments for guests.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and management.
  • Maintain high standards in food and beverage service, alcohol responsibility, and presentation.
  • Ensure cleanliness, stock rotation, and compliance with health and safety regulations across the lounge.

  • A confident leader with strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
  • Experienced in hospitality or lounge supervision, with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Physically fit, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
  • Holds or is working towards a General Manager's Certificate (Liquor Service), Police and AVSEC clearance.
  • NZQA Food Handling Certificate (Units 167 & 168) and previous supervisory experience are desirable.
