About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Registered Electrician - Project Manager to join our growing Albany-based team.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in completing projects to the highest standard.
You'll take ownership of jobs from planning to completion
- on time and within budget
- while mentoring junior team members and ensuring top-notch safety and quality.
- Manage end-to-end electrical projects, including planning and coordination
- Lead, mentor, and support junior electricians
- Communicate effectively with clients, builders, and other trades
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with NZ electrical standards and safety regulations
- Understand and process Quotes and Variations for Contracted works
- Maintain clear documentation and complete daily reporting
- Follow construction plans with confidence and accuracy
- Fully qualified and registered Electrician with current practicing license and a minimum of 5+ years experience
- Skilled in both residential and commercial electrical systems
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Confident with paperwork, timesheets, and site documentation
- Physically fit, professional, and presentable
- Full manual drivers licence
A willingness to travel within the North Island for work is essential. We have several ongoing projects on Waiheke Island and the outer Auckland boundaries, these require early starts. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
