Faster Cancer Treatment Tracker at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Taranaki -
This person will not hold formal leadership accountabilities but is responsible for displaying leadership character and driving service delivery within their role and the Faster Cancer team.About the RoleAs a member of the Faster Cancer Treatment team, this role has shared accountability for the cancer health target 90% of patients receive cancer management with 31 days of the decision to treat.
The FCT Tracker will monitor the status of all patients referred to Taranaki base Hospital with a high suspicion of cancer as well as those who receive a cancer diagnosis via a different pathway. You will also work on identifying and monitoring progress of patients through the FCT pathway by tracking clinic appointments, diagnostics, multi-disciplinary meetings and treatments.
You will liaise with the referral coordination centre, CNSs, booking scheduling administrators and MDM coordinator to highlight any issues and assist moving patients through their pathway within the health target time frames.Please click here to view the position descriptionAbout the Team/Service/ LocationYou will join a team of hardworking Cancer Coordinator CNS and have support from Te Ahu o Te Kahu the Cancer Contral Agency and other MDT staff who provide high quality care to our community of cancer patients.
