We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers to work across our Community Services. We are looking for a permanent, part-time Support Worker in Otaki.

What does a Support Worker do? - He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?

As part of a dedicated team, you'll support clients to live independently in their homes and communities. You'll help them achieve their goals and reach their potential through practical and emotional support, following a personalised care plan.

This includes the following:

  • Meal preparation
  • Medication supervision
  • Community outings
  • Personal cares (e.g. showering, toileting)
  • Home management (e.g. cleaning, organising)

  • Earn competitive pay rates between $23.38 up to $29.10 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Flexible shifts available between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday
  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • Earn while you learn with free training towards NZQA Health and Wellbeing
  • Career pathways within a large and diverse organisation

  • Previous caregiving experience is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Healthcare qualifications are a plus
  • A full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport are required for most roles
