About Us:
We are launching a brand-new juice bar in Coast Mall, Whangaparaoa bringing real fruit, real flavour, and real creativity to the community. Our mission is to serve juices, smoothies, fruit salads, frozen yogurt, and ice cream that stand out as fresh, bold, and innovative.
This is not a café. This is not a side menu.We are 100% juice-focused, and we want a manager who is the same.
The Role
Position: Juice Bar Manager & Recipe Developer/TrainerType: Casual Contract
Hours:15–20 hours per week (flexible)
Pay Rate: $33 – /$36 per hour
Growth: Potential to expand into a senior management role as the business grows
We’re looking for a "juice bar professional" who can set up everything from scratch and bring a "wow-factor menu" to life.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Innovation!
Create an exciting menu of juices, smoothies, frozen treats, and fruit-based desserts.Innovate with global inspirations while celebrating the best of NZ produce.
Balance "flavour, health, and cost efficiency".
Juice Bar Setup!
Source and set up suppliers for fresh, quality ingredients.Establish "stock control and prep systems".
Ensure compliance with (Food Safety and Food Control Plan) requirements.
Training & Leadership
Train staff (with no prior experience) in juicing, blending, hygiene, and service.Create recipe cards and SOPs for consistent quality.
Lead by example and build a positive juice bar culture.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5 years proven experience in a juice bar (not café, not restaurant — juice bar only)A "recipe genius"— someone creative, experimental, and passionate about juices/smoothies
Strong knowledge of "flavour pairing, nutrition, and presentation"
Proven experience with "menu creation and operational setup"
Certified in "Food Safety (NZQA) and comfortable with Food Control Plans
