The Cycle Shop has been providing sales and mechanical services to the wider Nelson region for the last nineteen years. We now need to add to our current team to help us manage the next chapter in The Cycle Shop's journey.
Major bike brands we sell are:- SCOTT
- SINCH - MOUSTACHE
- GIANT - NORCO
- MERIDA - MARIN
Depending on the applicant/s, we are looking to fill one or two positions - Shop Floor Manager, Sales Assistant, or both.
Each position requires the following:- Sales and/or customer service experience.
- Knowledge of basic bicycle mechanics.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to work in a tight-knit team.
- Motivation to provide exceptional customer service.
A knowledge of stock control and social media marketing is a definite advantage.
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WHO RIDE BIKES!!
In addition to the above, the Shop Floor Manager's position requires:- Strong sales experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proactive approach.
- The capacity to continually strive to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Either position is open to be a full time or part time role, and requires a flexible work schedule from Monday to Saturday.
Pay rates will be in line with the applicant's experience and suitability for the role.
