Our client is a well-established, privately owned company which undertakes work across the South Island. We are seeking qualified and experienced Asbestos Removalists for permanent roles with fantastic company.

About the role:

• Working in a well-regarded, supportive, and growing business.
• Full time, permanent work with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week normally worked from 06:00am to 06:00pm Monday to Friday. However you may be required to work the occasional Saturday.
• $28 to $30 per hour depending on experience.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• You must be physically fit and a team player
• You must have at least 1 year of relevant previous work experience in a construction/demolition environment.
• You must have relevant certification for removal of friable and non-friable asbestos and Working at Heights advanced course
• You must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
• Knowing, understanding, and complying with Health and Safety requirements, and company safety policies and procedures

Duties Involve:

• Undertaking asbestos removal works in a range of environments
• Use of specialised tools operated in compliance with strict health and safety regulations
• Travelling across job sites and across regions to undertake project work
• Working within a team, being reliable and following instructions
