About the Role
We are currently seeking Support Workers to join our team in the Kerikeri and Mangamuka areas. Our client lives in a family home and receives care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He is supported by a dedicated and compassionate team and presents with a range of complex health conditions and care needs.
Various shifts are available across the week, including sleepovers and wake-over shifts. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and reliable in covering a mixture of shifts.
We are seeking a Support Worker who is:- Energetic and willing to learn

- Committed to supporting the client in achieving his goals and enjoying daily life activities
- Assisting with personal care and feeding
- Supporting the client in therapy-based activities and community outings
- Engaging in meaningful daily activities
- Performing household tasks
- Collaborating with other support workers and health professionals
- Reliability and flexibility with working hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- A full, clean driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Clear spoken English
- Willingness to undertake training and development
- Experience in disability support is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
