Do you want the peace of the paddock without sacrificing your social life? We are looking for a skilled, motivated Farmhand to join our team on a premier dairy farm located just a short 20-minute cruise from the heart of Taupo.

A Day in the Life We run a sharp, professional operation where efficiency and cow comfort go hand-in-hand. Our roster is designed to keep the farm humming while giving you a clear structure to your day.

Your Daily Rhythm:

• Morning Session: You’ll head to the rotary to kick off the morning milk, wrapping up the session mid-morning.
• The Mid-Day Break: We value a good recharge. You’ll enjoy a solid 2-hour break in between milkings to head home, head into town, or just relax.
• Afternoon Session: You’ll return to the rotary for the afternoon milk, finishing up by late afternoon/early evening—leaving your nights free.
• Maintenance & Farm Care: The time outside of the pit is spent on essential maintenance and general farm requirements to keep the property in top-tier shape.

• The Track Record: You have 2+ years of experience in milk harvesting and animal welfare. You’re observant and prioritize the health of the herd above all else.
• Rotary Fluency: You’re a pro in a Rotary shed. You understand the flow, handle the technology with ease, and keep the platform moving smoothly.
• General Farm Mastery: From fencing and weed control to machinery operation, you have the 'all-rounder' skills to manage the daily farm requirements.

• Prime Location: Enjoy the quiet of the country with Taupo’s amenities only 20 minutes away.
