These are exciting roles with a real opportunity to make a difference.The role of the Associate Clinical Director is a position of responsibility annexed to a substantive role of an ED SMO.The successful candidate will be committed to clinical leadership and to working alongside the EM leadership team of Clinical Director, Operations Manager, Nurse Unit Managers and Associate CD at opposite site to further develop and maintain a high-quality Emergency Medicine service.
About YouYou will have a strong interest in clinical governance, quality improvement and medical education are essential.The positions will support the Clinical Director and the EM leadership team to provide clinical leadership and governance within the Emergency Department, fostering excellence in medical standards, workforce development, and strategic service improvement, while championing equity and supporting embedding Te Rautaki Manaaki Mana.To be successful in this role you will ideally need to have at least 5 years’ experience as an Emergency Medicine Specialist and be a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) with team leadership experience, a strong patient-centred focus and enjoy the challenges of providing services to a diverse community.
