Who are we looking for
We need an experienced Cafeteria Assistant to join our Council Facilities team! We need someone who has a positive, friendly manner and a 'can do' attitude.
Our Cafeteria team is a diverse group who are passionate about people and food. We are seeking someone who is responsible, flexible and fun to compliment this already robust team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for providing a full catering service to Waikato District Council; this includes preparing meals and beverages to large numbers, as well as smaller groups or teams.
Ideally, you would have a certificate in Food Handling or similar qualification as well as 2 years work experience in the catering industry. This is a permanent part time positionworking 15 hours per week, ideally worked on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
