Class 5 Log Truck Driver
Self Loader Logging Limited has been established in Taupo for 35 years. We are continuously upgrading our fleet of Logging trucks that work throughout the Bay of Plenty, Waikato, Hawkes Bay and King Country areas. Our vehicle brands include Volvo, Scania, Kenworth, Mack, International & Western Star.
We are currently seeking a fulltime Class 5 log truck driver based in or around Mount Maunganui. Log truck experience is preferred however full training will be considered for a suitable applicant.
We are seeking applicants with the following attributes:- hold a current Class 5 Drivers Licence.
- currently living in the Tauranga / Mount Maunganui / Te Puke areas.
- have compliance of Health & Safety work practices.
- can operate (or willing to learn) a manual transmission
- Can operate our log trucks efficiently.
- are reliable
- an early starter.
- have pride in your own presentation and the presentation of your allocated truck.
- must speak English confidently - clear verbal communication with dispatch and loader drivers throughout each day is vital to this role.
- drug & alcohol free.
