About the Role

We have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Nurse who would like to work in a Breast Care setting on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our clinical multidisciplinary team providing information, education and support for women during all stages of the breast screening and assessment process.

About Us

BreastScreen Waitemata Northland (BSWN) is part of Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora's free national BreastScreen Aotearoa (BSA) Programme. We screen over 45,000 women each year, and we pride ourselves on consistently delivering a positive experience for our clients.

We are a passionate, multidisciplinary team delivering a high quality service that is all about engaging with women to detect breast cancer early, when it can be more effectively treated

About you

To be successful in this role, you will:

Be a registered nurse in New Zealand with a current APC
Have at least two years of post-registration nursing experience
Be committed to learning with a willingness to undertake further training to meet BreastScreen Aotearoa requirements
Be compassionate, self motivated, an excellent communicator and thrive in a fast paced challenging environment

Flexible availability to pick up casual shifts as required

Experience working in breast care or women's health would be highly advantageous.
