Permanent and fixed term (6 months) positions avalaible - WhanganuiTe Haeata/The OpportunityPae Tukutuku mahi is multi-disciplinary and includes the provision of client advisory services, court registry services, case management, land registry services and judicial support services.Our team members are responsible for processing Māori Land Court applications from end to end (from giving pre-application advice through to completion).
In carrying out this mahi you will be making a positive impact on people's lives, and the lives of their future generations.The work is challenging and varied, and the environment is interesting and supportive. The role is primarily office based but there are opportunities to work throughout the Aotea district.

Ō pūkenga/Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will have:a good general knowledge of, and respect for, tikanga Māori and a commitment to further develop your knowledge of Te Reo Māorithe ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced environmentstrong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritisea genuine interest in people and a strong customer focusexceptional attention to detail and quality and accuracy in all work tasksexcellent written and verbal communication skillsstrong demonstrable research skillsa high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Utu ā-tau/SalaryThe appointing salary for this role will be between $59,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
