We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to perform a variety of duties, including the diagnosis, repair, and servicing of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a specialisation in either Kia/Hyundai or VW models and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional work.This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and modern environment.
Key Duties:
- Perform vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, with a specialisation in either Kia/Hyundai or VW models.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Adhere to manufacturer specifications and company procedures for all work performed.
- Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work completed.
- Order parts and equipment as needed, managing inventory efficiently.
- Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with the service advisory team.
- Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician.
- A relevant automotive qualification (e.g., FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A full, clean driver's license is preferred.
- An International Driving Permit (IDP) is preferred but not required.
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.
- Annual Salary: €34,900 - €45,000, depending on experience.
