We are looking for a skilled and motivated Motor Vehicle Technician to become a valuable part of our workshop in Roscommon.

We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to perform a variety of duties, including the diagnosis, repair, and servicing of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a specialisation in either Kia/Hyundai or VW models and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional work.

Key Duties:

  • Perform vehicle diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles, with a specialisation in either Kia/Hyundai or VW models.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and accurately identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Adhere to manufacturer specifications and company procedures for all work performed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work completed.
  • Order parts and equipment as needed, managing inventory efficiently.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with the service advisory team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician.
  • A relevant automotive qualification (e.g., FETAC/QQI Level 6 or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • A full, clean driver's license is preferred.
  • An International Driving Permit (IDP) is preferred but not required.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.
