This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, confident on the tools, and ready to lead a hardworking crew through a variety of projects—decks, fences, retaining walls, paving, and more.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:- Strong understanding of site setup, site levels, profiles, and marking out
- Proven experience with timber structures including but not limited to: Retaining walls, decks, pergolas, fencing and other custom timber structures
- Working knowledge of masonry, including: Steelwork, brick and block laying, paving, concrete works
- Earthworks and soft excavation experience
- Experience overseeing or operating machinery (advantageous)
- Understanding of drainage and irrigation
- Must be able to read and interpret Landscape plans and documents
- Confident and capable in running a team of landscape labourers
- Able to motivate, direct, and engage with team members
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to project deadlines, budgets, and timeframes
- Willing and able to perform physical work and lead by example on site
- A strong ability to solve problems and use initiative
- Love working outdoors and being part of a team
- Are proud of your craft and attention to detail
- Can keep a team on track, motivated, and productive
- Thrive in a fast-paced, project-based environment
