Senior Refrigeration Technician/ Ops Manager

Due to continued growth - we’re seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician with the scope to lead into a Operations Manager role - to join a well-established dairy refrigeration business supporting some of New Zealand’s most efficient dairy farms.

• technical support- relationship with their clients and strength of their well-versed team who deliver top quality service as every touch point of the process

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining senior technical work with day-to-day coordination of technicians, jobs, and customer expectations.

• Lead and organise daily workloads for a team of refrigeration technicians
• Attend on-site breakdowns, servicing, and installations as required
• Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
• Liaise directly with clients and provide technical support
• Oversee job progress, productivity, and use of Simpro
• Manage on-call rosters, stock levels, and parts ordering

• Trade-qualified Refrigeration Technician/ Electrician with solid NZ experience
• Strong knowledge of dairy farm refrigeration systems (Ideally)
• Proven leadership or senior technician experience/ ready to make that next step with our mentorship from within.
• Confident communicator with a customer-first mindset
• Organized, solutions-focused, and able to lead by example
• Full NZ Driver’s License | EWRB practicing license| Approved Handlers certificate for Refrigerants, Heights/Harness certificate - Or be able to obtain these Certs.
