Industrial Electrician

We're seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join a high-performing team delivering critical electrical solutions to major industrial clients. This role offers a dynamic mix of installations, preventative maintenance, and fault-finding across complex machinery, automation systems, and power distribution infrastructure.

• Install and maintain electrical systems across industrial machinery and equipment
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on motors, VSDs, PLCs, control panels, and switchboards
• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
• Adhere to all site safety and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with clients, supervisors, and other trades on site

• Registration: NZ-Registered Electrician with current EWRB practising licence
• Experience: Minimum 5 years' industrial electrical experience
• Skills: Strong understanding of motor controls, automation, and PLC fault-finding
• Soft Skills: Reliable, detail-oriented, and a good communicator who works well in a team
• Safety: Strong awareness of H&S protocols in industrial settings
