ABOUT THE COMPANY
We're recruiting on behalf of a busy, well-established international logistics provider based near Auckland Airport, specialising in air and ocean freight, 3PL, and customs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a true Business Development role where you'll be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding market presence across the freight forwarding sector. You'll be out in the market building relationships, identifying opportunities and converting leads into long-term clients.
ABOUT YOU
You're a proactive and commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships and closing deals. You're not afraid to get on the phone, hit the road and put yourself in front of clients.
You'll bring:
- Strong understanding of the freight forwarding or logistics industry
- Proven experience in a BDM or sales-focused role
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
- Confidence in prospecting, negotiating and closing business
