Downers Infrastructure Delivery team are proud to be an Alliance Partner in the delivery of the Otaki to north of Levin (O2NL) highway project.

We are looking for a motivated and organised **Legacy Outcomes Coordinator** where you'll contribute to a supportive team culture that values Kaupapa, uplifts the mana of others, and works together to make a lasting impact in the Horowhenua community.

**Te kowhiringa | The Opportunity**

In this role, you'll provide administrative and project coordination support to help the team stay on track and deliver meaningful outcomes that reflect the shared priorities of the New Zealand Transport Authority (NZTA), Muaupoko Tribal Authority, Nga Hapu o Ngati Raukawa ki te Tonga and Horowhenua District Council.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Help organise projects, events, and day-to-day activities.
  • Support communication with the community, team members, and project partners.
  • Assist with planning, admin tasks, and improving how we work.
  • Be a team player and help create a positive, respectful work environment.
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Help identify and manage any risks or issues that come up.

*This is two-year, Full-Time, Fixed-Term opportunity, with potential for extension.*

**About O2NL**:

The Otaki to north of Levin (O2NL) highway will dramatically improve safety, resilience, and efficiency, as well as increasing transport choices for the area's growing population. The O2NL project is led in partnership with NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi, Muaupoko Tribal Authority, local hapu of Ngati Raukawa ki te Tonga and council partner Horowhenua District Council.

This transformative project is being delivered using a two-alliance approach, with each alliance delivering a section of the road and associated works. Together alliance partners are working to create a positive legacy for the region, led by our project principles to tread lightly with the whenua and create an enduring legacy.

  • Organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear communication - both written and verbal
  • A good level of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A current NZ Restricted Driver's License (minimum requirement)
  • Great people skills with the confidence to build strong working relationships.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.

*This role sits within the projects Shared Services team and will work across both the North and South Alliances. The flexibility to work between the Levin and Otaki offices is required.*
