Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Painter to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, patching holes, priming)
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Ensure clean, precise, and high-quality finishes
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Follow all health and safety requirements on site
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a painter (residential or commercial)
- Knowledge of painting materials, and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- Understanding of workplace safety requirements
Employment Details:
- Type: Permanent Full-time
- Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
- Pay Rate: Starting rate NZD $28.00 per hour (or higher depending on experience)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
