We are looking for a permanent full-time tractor driver/general to join our team near Tarras, located 20 minutes from Wanaka and 30 minutes to Cromwell. The role will likely be 80% tractor work and 20% stock work. Long Gully Station is a sheep, beef & dairy grazing operation.
Duties include:- Cultivation
- Feeding out during winter months
- Maintaining tractors & implements
- Fencing & general maintenance
- Stock work when required - dogs optional
- able to work part of a team and independently
- show initiative
- willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a team with a joint goal to achieve high results
- have attention to detail
- honest & reliable with good time management
- good communication skills
- previous stock experience preferred but not essential
Salary to be negotiated and will be reflective of experience/skill level. A new, warm 4 bedroom home is provided as part of the package. Applicants must have NZ residency and hold a current NZ drivers licence.
