Aboutthe Team/Service/LocationOurservice provides comprehensive haematology and oncology care across thedistrict, supporting patients throughout their cancer journey with a strongfocus on collaboration, equity and coordinated care.Working closely with specialist oncologynurses, the Haematology CNS will also partner with Haematology and MedicalOncology teams to strengthen communication, streamline care pathways, andensure best practice cancer care delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**- Deliver expert haematology nursingassessment, treatment support, and care planning.* Provide advanced clinical input tooptimise patient outcomes and cancer care coordination.* Mentor and support nurses across primaryand secondary care to build haematology nursing capability.* Contribute to the development andimplementation of evidence-based pathways, protocols, and guidelines.* Lead nurse-led initiatives that enhancecontinuity of care and safe, timely discharge planning.
About YouYou will have a minimum of five years post-registrationexperience, including caring for adults with cancer.
You will have demonstratedadvanced nursing practice skill, knowledge and capability- evidenced throughparticipation in service and care planning within multidisciplinary teams ofprofessionals, focused on effective delivery of care to this specialised clientgroup.
