Paint Team Member, M10 Wgtn Central

Mitre 10 Wellington Central is opening a new store in Tory Street, Wellington and we are looking for a team member to work in our new Paint Department, so we would be really keen to hear from you if you have a passion for ensuring our customers get the right product and an exceptional level of service every time they walk through our doors – going the extra mile will be the norm for you.

If transforming a space or surface with colour is your passion, then your destination is our Paint & Decorating department as we are seeking a motivated customer focused individual to play a key role in our Colour Centre (Paint) Department.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

• Product knowledge of, or a background in paint
• A flare for colour and interior design
• DIY or trade related knowledge
• Ability to work as part of a team
• A passion for customer service excellence
• Ability to manage a varied and busy work load
• Physical fitness and able to stand for long periods
• Enthusiasm and team spirit
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions

This is position is a full time role (40 hours), including one weekend day.
