Mō te tūnga | About the roleWe are currently looking for a Case Manager to join our dedicated team at our prisons here in Canterbury.
As a Case Manager, you will provide specialist, end-to-end management of people serving sentences as they work through programmes aimed at addressing rehabilitation and reintegration needs.This includes initial assessment, needs identification, case planning, and partnering with whānau and external agencies to support rehabilitation.Case Managers lead rehabilitation and reintegration using a person-centric approach.
By focusing on the wellbeing of the person, you will help reduce the chances of them returning to past behaviour and support them to make better choices for the future.As part of this recruitment, we are looking to fill a position at Christchurch Women's Prison, where we've been working hard to better serve the unique needs of women.
Our Women's Strategy, Wāhine: E Rere Ana Ki te Pae Hou, sets the stage for a gender-specific, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach.
