We are seeking an experienced and responsible Class 2 Truck driver for our busy business in
Auckland. The applicant would need to demonstrate the following skills:- Great driving skills;
- A positive ‘can-do’ attitude;
- Great communication skills;
- Fit and healthy;
- Be reliable
- Driving Class 2 truck
- Using road ranger and automatic gearboxes
- Keeping in mind health and safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
- Have knowledge of weights and load limitations of the vehicle and also ensuring safe
- Ensuring goods are loaded and covered correctly on the vehicle to prevent any loss or
- Great driving skills and confidence in maneuvering vehicles into different positions for loading
- Checking the vehicle regularly and ensuring that the vehicle is safe for the road
- Checking loading documents and checking the conditions of the goods
- General labouring duties required if no truck driving work available.
- Assisting on ground while truck is being loaded.
- Submit pre-trip Inspections and if required Vehicle Defect reports on truck and trailing equipment prior to commencing shift
- Class 2 license or any relevant licence that can be converted to a Class 2
- Have at least 2 years of experience
- Interested and willing to learn and drive Class 4 truck
You must be able to work flexible hours, early starts, including weekends and public holidays.
Offering $62,400 - $72,800 pa based in Onehunga30 hours of minimum guaranteed work
Must have a clean criminal record.
You are required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. On-going random drugtesting is carried out.
