About Us

Higgs Building Co is a future-focused residential building company based in Cambridge. We build high-performance homes across the Waikato, including architectural builds, renovations, and energy-efficient homes using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).

We believe our success comes from having a great team—and we’re looking for someone who’s motivated to learn, grow, and be part of something awesome.

We’re passionate about developing talent. From day one, you’ll get hands-on experience, learn directly from experienced builders, and have training and support to help you succeed.
Exciting Projects
Get involved in real builds—from stunning architectural homes to cutting-edge SIPs construction. Every day is a chance to learn something new.
Supportive Crew
You’ll be part of a team that works hard but also knows how to have a good time. Think team BBQs, golf days, bowling nights, and Friday drinks.
Work/Life Balance

We get that life isn’t just about work. We’re flexible and supportive of your commitments outside the job.

Smarter Building

Learn the future of building with us. We’re passionate about building smarter, warmer, healthier homes, and you’ll be part of that journey from the ground up.

About the Role

Bonus if you have: Pre-trade course experience or some building/site work exposure.
