Te Ara Tahi is a shared journey of transformation across Te Rua Mahara o te Kawanatanga Archives New Zealand, Te Puna Matauranga o Aotearoa National Library of New Zealand and Nga Taonga Sound & Vision. It's about the institutions working more closely together, sharing expertise and resources to better meet the changing needs and expectations of New Zealanders.
The Wellington office of Te Rua Mahara has 80km of archival holdings. The majority of these holdings are anticipated to be relocated to a new building over an 18-month period. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, within all deliverables, and functional management of the project team.This is a fixed term role until August 2026.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- At least 5 years project management experience
- Experience leading complex logistics in a property or government context
- Comfort working in an environment in which tikanga Maori is strongly embedded
- Highly effective stakeholder management skills
- PRINCE2/PMP Certification
