Intermediate Environmental Planner - Taupo

Based in beautiful Raglan, Studio Wainui comprises a small team of environmental/landuse planners and environmental/civil engineers that pride ourselves on achieving excellent results for both our clients and the environment for complex development proposals.
In this role you would be involved in project managing resource consent applications for a broad range of activities ranging from individual housing up to large scale subdivision developments, landuse and natural resource use activities.
Our ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification .
- Strong interest and knowledge of New Zealand’s natural environment and resources.
- 3-5 years experience in planning or similar environmental related regulatory role with strong understanding of the RMA.
- Experience and understanding of local and regional councils.
- Clear and concise communication skills – both in writing and in person.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and consultation.
- Excellent collaboration skills working with our land development and engineering team.
