Experienced / Qualified Gardener

We're looking to add to our Kapiti team, and are seeking an individual with a real passion and energy for gardening, lawn care and general grounds maintenance. The Position available requires experience working in large gardens along with skills to undertake the ongoing maintenance of native, perennial and annual plants as part of a larger team.
Ongoing support will be provided for the successful candidate if upskilling is required.

YOUR DAILY TASKS MIGHT INCLUDE:- Gardening, from weeding, seasonal detailing, planting and everything in between
- Minor amenity tree maintenance
- Hedge trimming and shaping
- Weed management with organic sprays
- Monitoring for plant pests and diseases
- Conversations directly with our clients and property users, catering to garden requests and queries
- Working within a team, upskilling and supporting while creating a friendly and productive work environment
- Turf Care, hand and ride-on mowing, weed and pest management, renovations
- Line trimming and edging
- Hard surface clearing of leaf litter and debris
- Irrigation installation and repairs
- To be passionate about gardening
- Have trade qualifications or 3+ years working in gardens
- A positive, proactive and hard working attitude
- Great people skills
- Good level of fitness and physical ability and the ability to use outdoor hand and power tools
- Full, clean NZ driver's license and own transport
- First aid and Grow-safe certificates beneficial but we can upskill the right candidate
