Structural Fabricator / Fitter-Welder
Fusion Engineering Waikanae is growing, and we’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated team member to join our structural fabrication crew.
We’re seeking someone with experience in structural engineering, fitting & welding, or equivalent hands-on fabrication work. If you enjoy building quality work, tackling practical challenges, and being part of a supportive team on the Kapiti Coast, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
You’ll be involved in a wide range of structural fabrication and general engineering work, including building, welding, fitting, repairs, and custom jobs. No two days are the same!
We’re looking for someone who:- Can confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Is physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment
- Is experienced and confident with MIG and Stick welding
- Holds a full driver’s licence
- Has solid general engineering skills and takes pride in quality workmanship
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Great local, family-friendly team based right here in Waikanae
- Interesting and varied work across structural and general engineering projects
- Opportunity for long-term growth and skill development
