• Be a Qualified Carpenter, preferably with LBP license.
• Be reliable.
• Be friendly, flexible and proactive.
• Be an effective team leader.
• Have your own tools.
• Work well with others.
• Communicate well.
• Have great decision-making skills.
• Management skills - especially leading teams and working with apprentices.
• Good understanding of construction methodology and the technical aspects of construction.
• Effective time management.
• Be well presented.
• Be able to run a job on time.
• Experience with Procore is an advantage.

• Running jobs in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Completing carpentry work to a high standard.
• Working closely with employees and subcontractors.
• Managing sites including employees, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintaining the business's work health and safety policy on site at all times.
• Conducting toolbox talks and site inspections.
• Keeping track of variations.
• Building relationships and communicating clearly with clients.
