As the on-shift Duty Manager effect the overall smooth and efficient operation of the business with the primary focus of fostering an on-going positive working relationship with the staff & customer base.
To maximise sales volumes and profitability, monitor the gaming room to oversee gaming activities being undertaken by customers, assisting customers, providing bar service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.You are required to interact with customers, staff, service contractor & the authorities.
You need to:- Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and amendments and the Gambling Act 2003.
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the premises liquor, gaming & TAB licenses.
- Ensure all staff are aware of their obligations pursuant to the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and the company’s liquor license is not jeopardized—this includes patron conduct and intoxication.
- Ensure the cost-effective bar roster is complied with.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness of the premises.
- Manager the staff whilst on duty.
- Participate as a constructive member of the management team with the view to maximising business sales volumes and profitability.
- Provide patrons with friendly, efficient and professional service at all times.
- Building relationships with customers.
- Provide patrons with information about the operation of the machines.
- Monitor and identify any signs of harm.
- Address and resolve any customer concerns.
- Provide Hotel guests and walk-ins with friendly, efficient and professional service at all times.
- Monitor customers at all times, looking for signs of being influenced by alcohol or showing signs of intoxication..
- Respond to any customer complaints.
- Current Manager’s Certificate in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
