**Location:** Wellington & Surrounding Areas

**About the Role**

We’re seeking **qualified and certified Drainlayers** to join our growing team in Wellington and surrounding regions. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems for residential and commercial sites. You’ll work closely with site managers, builders, and inspectors to ensure drainage is completed to code, on time, and to a high standard.

**Key Responsibilities**
  • Install and maintain stormwater and wastewater systems
  • Read and interpret site plans and drainage layouts
  • Excavate and lay pipes, manholes, and associated infrastructure
  • Conduct drainage inspections and pressure testing
  • Repair or replace damaged or blocked drainage systems
  • Ensure compliance with NZ building codes and health & safety standards
  • Complete job records and reports accurately
**Requirements**
  • NZ Certificate in Drainlaying or equivalent
  • Registered or Certifying Drainlayer (or working toward registration)
  • Valid NZ Driver's Licence
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong understanding of site safety and compliance
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor, manual work
**Preferred**
  • Confident operating machinery (excavator/tipper)
  • Site Safe or similar safety training
