Accounts and Administration Manager

The Accounts and Administrator Manager will be working alongside a small team in a family owned and operated Property Management business.

The Accounts and Administrator Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial tasks, including processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts and completing payroll.

Key responsibilities involve:
  • Accounts Payable: Managing invoices from suppliers, verifying their accuracy, processing them for payment, and ensuring payments are made on time.
  • Accounts Receivable: Issuing invoices to customers, processing payments, and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment.
  • Debt Recovery: Contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating repayment plans, and resolving payment issues to collect outstanding debts.
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations, accuracy a must.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Completing various bookkeeping tasks as required, such as entering data, processing transactions, and coding transactions correctly.
  • Handling and resolving queries from suppliers, tenants and other vendors regarding payments and account terms.
  • Assisting with month-end processes, preparing reports, and ensuring all financial data is updated accurately.
  • Processing payroll, ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Essential Skills:
  • A strong focus on detail and accuracy is crucial for handling financial data.
  • The ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively is essential.
  • Good communication skills are needed.
  • The ability to identify and resolve issues, such as processing errors or payment disputes.
  • Experience with accounting software Xero and Microsoft Office, is required. Knownledge of Released is beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently but a part of a small team is important.
