Dumpling Manufacturing Operator
Gluten Free Choice is a specialist Gluten Free Baker based in Christchurch. Our Pavillion brand is sold in the grocery and frozen aisles of over 250 supermarkets and specialty stores throughout New Zealand. We also supply Gluten Free Pizza bases to major restaurant chains in both Australia and New Zealand, and contract bake for other leading NZ brands.
Demand is growing and we need a Bakery Team Member, as specialist machine operator to help support our current growth in Dumplings. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic & motivated person who wants to work in a team and get the job done.The role includes preparing and making Dumplings; ensuring food safety compliance and managing manufacturing schedules.
Key Skills & Experience:
A minimum of 2–3 years of bakery experience in a role of machine operator of technical nature,Ability to adapt to new tasks and processes in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements,
Ability to work well both as part of a team, and also must be able to work unsupervised, to delivery business results required,
Flexibility, and willingness, to work in all bakery tasks as required,
A can-do attitude and being prepared to own up if you make a mistake,
Good English communication skills,
Availability to work min of 40 hours per week, and flex up as required. Working days are generally Monday to Thursday; however, weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
Must be a New Zealand resident or citizen.
Must be living in Christchurch
