Helicopter Engineer - Oamaru

Heliventures NZ based at the Oamaru Airport is looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our growing team. We are a commercial and agricultural helicopter operation which predominantly services Otago, South Canterbury and the Mackenzie Country, but also operates across New Zealand for some projects.
We also have a base at Pukaki Airport in Twizel. We operate a fleet of AS350/355, MD520Ns, and a Schweizer 300.
The ideal candidate will be –- Able to work as a CAA licenced helicopter engineer holding a Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3 rotorcraft rating
- Experienced on AS350/355
- Arriel and Arrius, MD520N or 500 series
- Rolls Royce, and Schweizer 300
- Lycoming
- Be confident in their knowledge of CAA Rules and Regulations
- Able to work alongside our third party Pt145 service provider
- Have the ability to work independently and alongside other staff
- An active participant in our safety management system
- Striving for high standards consistently
- Proficient in the English language with the right to work in New Zealand
- Proficient in the use of Flight Cert
- Hold a full driver’s licence
- A positive team member with a good sense of humour
- Physically fit
- Able to past a pre-employment and random drug/alcohol test
Depending on experience a likely remuneration package would be between $45-$80 per hour, a phone allowance, working away allowance, depending on skills, experience and qualifications held.
