Cancer Screening, Treatment and SupportLocation: Palmerston North, Part timeThis is an exciting new opportunity for someone to join the Te Whatu Ora Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua- MidCentral, National Bowel Screening Programme (NBSP) team.
The MidCentral NBSP covers the MidCentral district of Palmerston North, Manawatū, Tararua, Horowhenua and Ōtaki.We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who will administer the operational functions of the local programme, assisting with our Pre- Reach/Outreach Programme, and supporting people in the community to access Bowel Screening.
To be successful you will need to have: Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in working with data and generation of reportsExcellent word processing skillsHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft software including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher and TeamsAbility to organise meetings including virtual meetings, formulate agenda and take minutesExceptional organisational skills and ability to work autonomouslyExcellent team member and a passion for working with communityMaturity and ability to cope in a busy and demanding environmentWillingness to learn and ability to adapt to changes.Hours of work will be 32 hours, Monday to Friday (with some flexibility around start and finish times), with occasional optional weekend work.
