The Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about empowering others and helping them reach their full potential. As a Support Worker, you will have an incredible opportunity to work closely with members of our community who have complex disabilities.

Your role will be vital in guiding them towards independence and mastering essential life skills. This includes supporting them with various aspects of daily life, such as personal care, meal preparation, creating support plans, and managing household tasks.

This is a part-time position offering approximately 8 hours of work per week, with the potential for additional hours. Weekend availability is required, as some shifts will be scheduled for the weekend. Due to the personal care needs of the individual, this position is open to female support workers only.

About You

We are seeking someone who naturally embodies kindness, empathy, and reliability. You should excel at time management, work well as part of a team, and approach challenges with creativity and problem-solving skills. A good sense of humour and a genuine passion for building meaningful connections are highly valued.

Experience working with individuals who display challenging behaviours is especially desirable, particularly if you have understanding of intellectual disabilities.
