Dental Practice Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Practice Manager to join our well-established, locally owned clinic with two busy locations in the heart of Stoke and Mapua.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and adaptable leader who thrives in a people-centred healthcare environment. Previous dental or medical practice experience is advantageous but not essential; we encourage applications from candidates with strong general management experience who are eager to transfer their skills to a clinical setting.We also welcome experienced dental assistants seeking to take the next step in their career.
About the Role
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operations of our two clinics. You will play a key leadership role, working closely with the ownership team, dentists, head dental assistant as well as the dental assistant and reception team to ensure efficient systems, high standards of patient care, and a positive, professional workplace culture.The successful candidate will be expected to learn all areas of the business, allowing them to assist across reception, dental assisting, and the sterilisation room when required.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations across both clinic locations
- Lead, support, and coordinate administrative and clinical support staff
- Ensure efficient scheduling, workflows, and operational systems
- Support the delivery of an excellent patient experience
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and health regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement and practice growth
- Proven experience in practice management, general management or an experienced dental assistant
- Confident leadership and strong communication skills
- Highly organised, adaptable, and solution-focused
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Professional, approachable, and team-oriented
