Concrete Truck Driver

You will also assist in the loading and unloading of concrete and perform basic truck maintenance as required.

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites.
• Ensure safe delivery of concrete to the correct location within the specified time.
• Communicate with dispatch to verify delivery schedules and requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and other required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck and ensure the concrete meets specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Report any issues with equipment or deliveries to the supervisor.

• Valid commercial driver's license (Class 4) Or Overseas Equivalent.
• Previous experience driving a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand delivery instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Must be physically able to load and unload materials, as well as perform basic truck maintenance.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 25k/g weight.
• Must be Physically Fit as job can be physically demanding sometimes.
• Ability to work without supervision.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift

Early Morning start, late Midnight and Different time Every day as you will be part of rotating roster. Ability to commute/relocate:

• Christchurch, Canterbury: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Licence/Certification:
• Class 4 Drivers or Overseas Equivalent.
