About the Team/Service/Location
Ward 4 is a 28bed inpatient surgical ward in Whangarei Hospital, one of the main secondary hospitals serving Northland. It operates within Surgical Services, caring for adult patients requiring inpatient surgical management and recovery.
Ward 4 supports a mix of surgical specialties, such as colorectal, complex general surgery, complex urology and trauma providing you with variety and making each day different.
Ward 4 supports both elective and acute admissions.

About you
Essential Requirements:
New Zealand Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing CertificateRecent (within 2 years) clinical experience in acute setting
The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Good communication skills
People orientated interests
Post graduate qualification desirable
Previous surgical experience.
