Whangarei, Northland, New ZealandPermanent full and part-time position Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe are looking for physicians to provide respiratory services including EBUS within NorthlandExisting specialties include:General and Acute medicineRheumatologyRespiratoryGastroenterology including a visiting hepatologistNeurologyCardiologyInfectious DiseaseEndocrinology and diabetesHealthcare of the elderlyMaternal MedicineOncology and HaematologyRenal medicineWe have several new facilities including a new Laboratory an endoscopy and cardiac catheter suite with the agreed funding for a new hospital which is currently in the planning stage.While you will primarily undertake respiratory work, depending on your experience may need to undertake general medicine ward rounds on a regular basis.

The role will be divided into an off-ward role where elective work is undertaken and on wards managing inpatients.
