Kneaded Massage has been operating in New Plymouth for over 13 years and is now looking for 5 experienced Chinese massage therapist to join our professional team.
Key Tasks: Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, to assist healing.
- Utilising a range of massage techniques to promote relaxation, improve circulation, enhance wellbeing and relieve muscle tension.
- Applying traditional Chinese massage techniques using hands, thumbs and forearms to reduce tension in muscles.
- Aromatherapy oil and coconut oil massages using palm techniques and flowing strokes.
- Reflexology incorporating wood stick to release tension in the feet and legs
- Pregnancy massage
- Head massage
- Face massage
- Hold a professional qualification in massage therapy, or a related field.
- Additional training or certification in Chinese therapies is preferred.
- Excellent massage and therapy skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Team player with the ability to work in a health and well-being environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience .
- Proficient in a wide range of massage techniques and massage therapies.
- Passionate, patient, and detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism.
- Committed to delivering high-quality guest experiences.
