Retail Footwear Technician - Full Time
Shoe Clinic Nelson has an exciting opportunity for a mature Retail Assistants to join our fast-paced specialty footwear store.
You must display a passion for retail, need to be enthusiastic, confident and have a desire to provide outstanding customer service, as well as a commitment to learning and improving. You will be part of a small team so must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.Relationship building skills will be key to succeeding in this role. You need to be able to think on your feet and converse with a wide demographic of age groups. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong sales ability.
The position is based on 30-34 hours/week, but at times require 38+ hours per week. Availability to work weekends is essential. Your rostered days may change weekly depending on the needs of the business, so flexibility in availability will be highly regarded.You also need to have the ability to flex up to cover annual leave and sick leave when required. This is not a short-term position, so please don't apply if you can't commit to at a minimum of 1 year.

Previous retail experience is not essential but a proven history of excellence in a customer service and sales role is an advantage.
