We are currently looking for a Sawmill Operator to join our dayshift team at our Kennington site.
As a Sawmill Operator, you will play an important part in turning raw logs into rough sawn timber, supporting the production team by keeping things running smoothly and efficiently. This role is physically demanding and hands-on, perfect for someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a team that gets the job done right.
This is a Monday - Friday dayshift position. In addition to the competitive hourly rate, employees can earn extra through overtime, and production bonuses linked to attendance. Start your weekend sooner with our early Friday finishes, every week!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sawmill machinery and manually handle timber
- Maintain product quality and organise stock effectively through quality control
- Follow health and safety procedures and keep your work area tidy
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
