Sign Maker

Minimum Hours per week: at least 30 hours per week

We are looking for two creative and detail-oriented Sign Makers to create and install a variety of signs for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in hand-painted signage, vinyl cutting, digital printing, or large-format production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret client briefs and assist in designing signage layouts using both traditional techniques and digital design software
• Plan, measure, and prepare materials such as metal, glass, plastic, wood, and vinyl for sign production
• Operate and maintain sign-making equipment including printers, vinyl cutters, plotters, and hand tools
• Paint or apply vinyl to various surfaces such as windows, vehicles, shopfronts, and boards
• Produce signs by painting, screen-printing, engraving, and applying digital or vinyl lettering and graphics
• Install signage at client sites, ensuring proper fitting, alignment, and secure mounting on buildings, vehicles, and other surfaces
• Apply finishing techniques including lamination, sealing, and protective coatings to ensure durability and compliance with safety standards
• Inspect finished signage for quality, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications
• Maintain workspaces, tools, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to confirm design concepts, materials, and installation details

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of work experience in a relevant field
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW) and/or sign- making tools
• Artistic ability and good eye for typography and layout
• Competence with hand tools and light machinery
• Comfortable working at heights or outdoors, when required
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Knowledge of printing and finishing techniques
