Registered Mental Health Nurse
There are limited roles available in both our forensic wards and our adult mental health wards. Candidates with experience working in mental health settings in New Zealand and who hold a PG cert in mental health will be prioritised for interview.

Delivering excellent care in a culturally responsive manner, to support the best outcomes for Māori is fundamental to our mahi.These roles offer an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic and passionate team in our in-patient mental health environments; every day is different and you have the opportunity to make a real impact to the lives of others.Responsibilities of the role:Assess, maintain and manage clinical risk.Build relationships with tāngata whaiora , whanau and support agencies.Conduct thorough assessments of tāngata whaiora health status and develop appropriate care plans in partnership with them.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for tāngataCommit to the MDT approach with a focus on excellent service delivery.
