Fire Protection Supervisor

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fire alarm technician ready to step up and use their industry expertise to support team development and company growth.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated Service Supervisor to lead day-to-day fire alarm servicing operations. This hands-on role will initially be split 60/40 between the tools and supervision, progressing towards 80/20 as the team grows. You won’t be managing a team directly, but you'll play a key role in mentoring technicians and supporting the department manager in delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily service operations
  • Perform and support fire alarm servicing, fault-finding, and upgrade work
  • Ensure compliance with NZS 4512 and all safety standards
  • Mentor technicians and apprentices, sharing your expertise to upskill the wider team
  • Build strong client relationships and manage service queries

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry
  • NZ Certificate Level 4 in Fixed Fire Protection Systems (Fire/Sprinkler)
  • Strong technical and leadership skills
  • Full NZ Driver’s License and Site Safe card
  • Familiarity with Simpro, Uptick, or similar systems (preferred, not essential)
  • NZ Resident or Citizen will only be considered.
